Rajamouli has no Budget Restrictions for Varanasi

SS Rajamouli who conquered the pan-Indian market is eyeing an international release for his upcoming film Varanasi. The movie will head for an English release in all the major nations of the globe and the film will also be dubbed into all the major foreign languages where the viewership is big. Varanasi is a stylish action drama that comes with a mythological touch. Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, Prithviraj Sukumaran, R Madhavan and Prakash Raj will be seen in the lead roles. There are a lot of speculations about the film’s budget and some of them are speculating that the final budget would touch Rs 1500 crores.
Rajamouli hasn’t discussed the film’s budget with the producer and he asked KL Narayana to spend lavishly on the product. He ensured that the entire budget would be recovered before the release of the film as it will head for a release in multiple languages and countries. At the same time, Rajamouli has planned the film’s budget properly before heading for the shoot. He has enough clarity about the spends and the real budgets of the film are kept under wraps. Rajamouli is one director who takes minimal remuneration and he shares the profits from his films. He also negotiated with all the actors and locked their remunerations. Varanasi shoot will be concluded in 2026 and the film releases in 2027.
