Ram Charan and APL Team Meet PM Modi

Global star Ram Charan, along with Anil Kamineni, Chairman of the Archery Premier League (APL), and Virender Sachdeva, President of the Archery Association of India, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi to celebrate the successful completion of APL’s first season.
During the meeting, the delegation presented the Prime Minister with a symbolic bow, representing India’s rich tradition in archery and the league’s vision to revive this ancient sport. The gesture also marked APL’s growing success and its aim to bring Indian archery to global attention.
The Archery Premier League, founded under the leadership of Anil Kamineni, focuses on promoting archery by offering world-class training, competitive platforms, and international exposure to Indian athletes. The league’s mission is to create a strong sports ecosystem that supports and inspires young archers to achieve excellence at national and international levels.
After the meeting, Ram Charan expressed his happiness, saying,
 “It was an honour to meet our Prime Minister and share the vision behind the Archery Premier League. Archery is a proud part of India’s heritage, and through APL, we want to make it shine again on the global stage. India has incredible talent, and this platform will help our archers reach new heights.”
Upasana Konidela also joined the meeting and presented Prime Minister Modi with a Balaji idol and a traditional puja kit on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan’s parents.
The meeting highlighted APL’s growing importance in Indian sports and its strong commitment to promoting traditional games with a modern approach.
