Rashmika Mandanna Expresses Happiness Over Best Actress Award

Actor Rashmika Mandanna has expressed happiness and gratitude after winning the Best Actress award at the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2025 for her performance in the film The Girlfriend. The actress shared an emotional message on social media, saying the recognition means a lot to her and that the character she played in the film will always remain very special to her.
Rashmika received the prestigious award for portraying the character “Bhooma Devi” in The Girlfriend. She said the role is very close to her heart and thanked the film’s director Rahul Ravindran for trusting her with the character. She also expressed gratitude to the production house Geetha Arts and the entire team of the film for their support during the project.
The actress also thanked the Government of Telangana for honouring her with the award. She conveyed her sincere thanks to Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy for recognising her work and encouraging the film industry.
