Hyderabad: Several areas in the city will have no water supply for 36 hours from 6 am on October 13 to 6 pm on October 14 due to repair work on the Krishna Drinking Water Supply Project Phase-3 Ring Main-1 to the reservoirs.
The affected areas include Gachibowli, Kondapur, Madhapur, Ayyappa Society, Kavuri Hills, Prashasan Nagar, Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills, Tatti Khana, Bhojagutta, Shaikpet, Hakimpet, Karwan, Mehdipatnam, Asif Nagar, Golconda, Langar Houz, Durga Nagar, Budwel, Suleman Nagar, Golden Heights, Number 9, Kismatpur, Gandhamguda, Bandlaguda, Shastripuram, Allabanda, Madhuban, Dharmasai (Shamshabad), Sahebnagar, Autonagar, Saroor Nagar, Vasavi Nagar, Nagole, NTR Nagar, Vanasthalipuram, Devender Nagar, Uppal, Snehapuri, Bharath Nagar, Rampally, Boduppal, Chengicherla, Manik Chand, Mallikarjuna Nagar, Peerzadiguda, and Pedda Amberpet.
The HMWSSB said in a press release on Saturday that repair works were being carried out to fix a significant water leakage in the 2,375 mm diameter pipeline of the Krishna Drinking Water Supply Project (KDWSP) Phase-3, which supplies drinking water to the Greater Hyderabad area from Kodandapur to Godakondla.
