Family entertainer Sahakutumbanam, produced by HNG Cinemas LLP, is now set to hit theatres worldwide on December 19. Directed by Uday Sharma, the film stars Ram Kiran and Megha Akash in lead roles and features a strong supporting lineup including Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Shubhalekha Sudhakar, Satya, Rajashri Nair, Racha Ravi, Giridhar, Tagubothu Ramesh, Bhadram and several others. With music by Mani Sharma, visuals by Madhu Dasari, and editing by Sashank Mali, the team promises a wholesome and emotional family drama. The trailer, released earlier, has already received an enthusiastic response on social media, boosting expectations for the film’s theatrical run.
The movie was originally planned for a December 12 release, but the team decided to shift the date to December 19. This change was made as a mark of respect for Akhanda Tandavam, the upcoming film directed by Boyapati Sreenu and starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, which is releasing on December 12. The Sahakutumbanam team said their intention was to avoid any disturbance to the release of Akhanda Tandavam, acknowledging the huge admiration they have for Balakrishna. They also extended warm wishes to the team of Akhanda 2 for a grand success.
The makers said the decision was driven by emotion rather than business, adding that certain choices reflect the spirit of “Jai Balayya”. They expressed happiness in announcing the new release date and confirmed that Sahakutumbanam will reach audiences on December 19 across theatres worldwide.
