The film, directed by Rohith KP, explores oppression on a large scale and is now in the last leg of its shoot. It is said that the mega actor has recently given his nod to the KA director duo Sandeep and Sujeeth. The duo is said to have pitched an interesting idea to Sai Dharam Tej, and the actor responded positively. The scriptwork of the project is currently underway, and if everything goes well, the formal announcement will come out as per the buzz.
In a recent interview, Sai Dharam Tej revealed that director Deva Katta is currently working on the script of Republic 2, and the project will move ahead only if the duo feels the script is as impactful as Republic.
