Shuddh Vilas, a restaurant brand known for its concept of “Tradition served in style,” has taken a major step in its global journey by launching its new outlet in Dubai. After building a strong presence in Malkajgiri in Hyderabad and expanding to Malaysia, the brand has now entered the Middle East market with a grand opening in the United Arab Emirates.
The newly opened Shuddh Vilas restaurant in Dubai was inaugurated on February 20 in a grand ceremony attended by guests and well-wishers. The restaurant is located at Building No. 12, Street No. 1, Jebel Ali Village, Discovery Gardens, one of the prominent residential areas in the city. The opening ceremony gained special spiritual significance as it was conducted under the blessings and guidance of Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Devanatha Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy.
The brand was founded by Shashikanth and Sri Ram, who envisioned bringing traditional flavors and authentic hospitality to a global audience. For the Dubai venture, they are joined by local partners Praveen, Srinivas, Venkat Marthand, Sagar, and Hussain. Together, they aim to establish Shuddh Vilas as a recognizable culinary destination for both Indian expatriates and international food lovers in the Gulf region.
According to the founders, the Dubai outlet is just the beginning of the brand’s expansion in the Middle East. Shuddh Vilas is already planning to open additional branches in major cities including Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar. The strategy is aimed at reaching the growing Indian community and also introducing traditional Indian cuisine to a wider global audience.
At the same time, the company is strengthening its presence in India as well. A new Shuddh Vilas branch is set to open soon in Alkapuri Township in Hyderabad, while discussions are underway for two more locations in the city. The founders believe that expanding both domestically and internationally will help the brand build a strong reputation for quality, authenticity, and traditional hospitality.
Looking further ahead, the founders have also revealed that the United States is part of the company’s long-term global expansion plan. With operations already spanning India, Malaysia, and now the United Arab Emirates, Shuddh Vilas is steadily growing into an international brand representing traditional Indian culinary culture.
