Tubi viewer, beware: you’re in for a scare. YA frightmeister R.L. Stine is back with a new tale of horror for Halloween, and you’ll be able to stream it for free, exclusively on the ad-supported streamer. Collider has an exclusive look at the first trailer for R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead, an all-new tale of sinister scarecrows and ghastly gourds, which will premiere on Tubi on October 17. Pumpkinhead (which is not to be confused with the 1988 Lance Henriksen VHS favorite of the same name) centers around Sam and Finn, two brothers whose family moves to the rural community of Redhaven — a place where “the harvest never ends.” It’s full of creepy people and creepier scarecrows; especially creepy is old man Palmer, who wants everyone to stay away from his prized pumpkins.
