Sree Vishnu Predicts Big Break for Santosh Soban with Couple Friendly

The upcoming Telugu–Tamil musical romantic love story Couple Friendly created strong buzz at its grand pre-release event held in Hyderabad, with several industry personalities expressing high confidence in the film’s success. Starring Santosh Soban and Manasa Varanasi in the lead roles, the film is presented by UV Creations and produced by UV Concepts, with Ajay Kumar Raju P as co-producer. Directed by Ashwin Chandrasekhar, the film is set to release on February 14, targeting the Valentine’s Day holiday window, with producer and distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni releasing the film across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Hero Sree Vishnu said he has admired Santosh Soban’s natural acting since Golconda High School and believes Couple Friendly can give him the super hit he has been waiting for. He said Telugu audiences always encourage good performers and expressed confidence that viewers will connect with Santosh’s boy-next-door charm once again in this film. He also spoke warmly about UV Creations, saying films from the banner feel like their own because of the way the team supports artists.
Director Anil Ravipudi said the trailer gave him a strong “sure-shot hit” feeling and described the film as a balanced emotional ride with appealing visuals and music. He added that Santosh Soban and Manasa Varanasi look like a perfect on-screen pair and that the Valentine’s Day release timing is ideal for a romantic entertainer. Director Merlapaka Gandhi said every promotional asset released so far has received positive feedback and noted that the honesty of director Ashwin Chandrasekhar is visible in every frame. He expressed hope that the film brings success to the UV banner.
Actor Rajeev Kanakala, who plays Manasa Varanasi’s father in the film, said the story presents a beautiful relationship between the lead pair and that Santosh Soban’s effort is clearly visible in the trailer. He praised Manasa Varanasi for her performance and screen presence and credited UV Creations for the film’s strong production values. Producer Swapna Dutt said the film’s content feels fresh and that Santosh Soban is a talented actor who deserves a solid breakthrough with this release.
Producer and distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni said romantic love stories have become rare in recent times and described Couple Friendly as a grounded film that reflects real emotions, where love is about standing by each other. He revealed that premieres were being held in multiple locations and that early ticket bookings were encouraging. Director Ashwin Chandrasekhar said the team made the film honestly and with clarity, adding that the A certificate is due to the title and not the content, and that the film is suitable for all audiences.
Manasa Varanasi said Couple Friendly is a fresh love drama made with heart and expressed hope that audiences will connect with her character Mithra. Music director Aditya Ravindran, marking his debut, said composing for the film was a special experience and thanked the makers for trusting him.
