Renowned producer D. Suresh Babu, head of Suresh Productions and a constant supporter of new talent, has joined hands with the team of the upcoming film Patang. The movie, a comedy sports drama based on a vibrant kite-flying competition, is set for a worldwide release on December 25 under the presentation of Suresh Productions and D. Suresh Babu.
Suresh Babu recently watched the film, appreciated the team’s dedication, and decided to officially present it under his prestigious banner. Patang is jointly produced by Cinematic Elements, Rishaan Cinemas, and Monsoon Tales, with Vijay Shekhar Anne, Sampath Maka, Suresh Kothinti, and Nani Bandreddy serving as producers. The film is directed by Praneeth Prattipati.
The cast features Instagram sensation Preethi Pagadala, Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa runner-up Pranav Kaushik, and Vamsi Pujith in lead roles. Noted singer and actor S. P. Charan also plays a crucial role, alongside several fresh faces who are debuting with this film.
As part of the promotional campaign, the lyrical video of the song “Emotional Drama” was released by Suresh Babu himself during a press meet on Friday. The launch added strong buzz around the film, especially among young audiences.
