ENE Repeat, the sequel to the popular buddy comedy Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, has been in the headlines lately. Tharun Bhascker confirmed that Sai Sushanth will not be part of the project due to personal reasons, while the producer revealed that the second installment revolves around filmmaking and involves extensive VFX.
In an interview, producer Srujan Yarabolu disclosed that a top OTT platform rejected buying the digital rights of ENE Repeat. “We were told that they didn’t have slots, and that’s the reason they won’t buy the OTT rights. If it were a big production house, this wouldn’t have happened, and the streamer would have still acquired the film,” he said.
The statement is going viral on social media, and netizens opine that the streaming platform indeed missed out on a goldmine. Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam, and Venkatesh Kakumanu are all set to reprise their roles. Vivek Sagar is the music composer. The much-awaited film will release in the second half of 2026.The post Top OTT platform rejects acquiring this crazy Telugu sequel first appeared on Latest Telugu cinema news | Movie reviews | OTT Updates, OTT.
