This is precisely why the senior T20I discussion has begun so early, not because the Indian squad have strong opener contenders, but because Suryavanshi is raising the most crucial question in modern T20 planning, if you have an explosive option, why can’t he be included in the squad?
If we look at his stat, in the recent U19 Asia Cup, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 262 runs at a strike rate of 162, which featured a sensational 171 off just 95 balls against the UAE.
