The first video glimpse of Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu and India’s numero uno director SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi has turned out to be a phenomenon across the country. The video has clocked over 75 million views within just one day and has got everyone talking about its visual grandeur and technical brilliance.
Mahesh Babu’s final act at the Varanasi event has become a nationwide sensation. The actor, who plays Rudhra, held a trident and rode a bull (Nandi) and entered the stage to deliver his speech. And the visual of Mahesh riding Nandi in the Varanasi glimpse video continues to offer goosebumps to fans. Rajamouli has once again succeeded in doing what he knows best, pushing his imagination to never-before-seen limits.
Varanasi, also starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles, is being produced by KL Narayana and SS Karthikeya. MM Keeravani is composing the soundtrack. The film is scheduled for release in summer 2027.
