VD14: Ace cinematographer joins Vijay Deverakonda’s next

Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda has joined forces with Rahul Sankrityan, the talented director behind Vijay’s Taxiwaala, for his next project. Tentatively titled VD14, the film was launched earlier this year.
On Sunday, VD14’s makers at Mythri Movie Makers took to X and wished ace lensman Nirav Shah on his birthday and welcomed him on board VD14. “Your brilliance with the camera is unmatched.
Welcome on board,” read the post. Nirav Shah is one of the most acclaimed cinematographers in India, having shot some of the most popular movies, such as Dhoom, Dhoom 2, Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi, and Valimai, to name a few.
VD14 will see star heroine Rashmika Mandanna in a lead role. The film is said to be a period drama set in the British Indian era.
