The Rock has finally reacted to his absence from Wrestlemania 41. The Final Boss was an integral part of John Cena’s heel turn at the Elimination Chamber. Cena won the Chamber match to challenge Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania. Since Cena sold his soul to The Rock, he was expected to help him win the title. Cena did win the title at Wrestlemania but with the help of Travis Scott. Scott was also present in the ring when Cena turned heel.
Nearly six months after Wrestlemania, The Rock has reacted to his absence. “Yeah. Yeah, I know, dude,” he responded to a fan who inquired about his absence.

The Rock hasn’t made any appearance since March. The former WWE Champion was expected to make his return at Wrestlepalooza, which was WWE’s first premium live event on ESPN. But it didn’t happen.
The Rock isn’t expected to make any appearance till Wrestlemania 42. Since Wrestlemania 43 will take place in Saudi Arabia, The Rock could make his return at next year’s Wrestlemania to challenge Roman Reigns for a dream match one year in advance.
WWE has done this before and the company can decide to do it again. Back in 2011, WWE announced Wrestlemania 28’s main event one year in advance. Cena and The Rock locked horns in the main event in a non-title match.
They squared off in the main event of Wrestlemania 29 as well. This time, the WWE Championship was up for grabs. Cena defeated The Rock to level the scores 1-1 and win the WWE Championship.
Cena is now on his farewell tour and is set to compete for the final time on December 13. As for The Rock, he has been away from the in-ring action since Wrestlemania 40. He teamed up with Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event of last year’s Wrestlemania.
