Gone are the days when stars were excited to interact with the media and reveal interesting updates about their films. With the social media era and digital media replacing the world, most of our stars are not much interested in facing the media. A section of the media too is biased and are targeting the actors, making them uncomfortable. When it is all about a film’s promotion, there would be a discussion about the other films of the actor and about his personal life or other gossips.
When the interaction is live, the actor has to come up with a strong response and this may land the actor into a controversy. Even after several attempts made by the personal PRs of the actors, some of the media personnel keep questioning about other things which irks the actors or the directors and producers. The Q&A interaction has been getting reduced. Stars are also not showing much interest to interact through media interviews and they are preferring recorded interviews in which the questions are prepared in advance. The final edit is shown to the actor before it gets live through the official youtube channel.
