The makers of the upcoming film The Paradise have created one of the most ambitious film sets of recent times, building a massive slum-style empire spread across 2.5 acres to bring the world of the film to life. The elaborate set construction was especially designed for the high-energy song “Aaya Sher”, which has already become one of the biggest viral tracks of the year, drawing millions of views across languages and dominating social media platforms with countless Instagram Reel recreations.

Ever since the teaser of The Paradise was released, the film has generated strong buzz among audiences and quickly became one of the most talked-about upcoming projects. The teaser’s gritty visuals and intense tone sparked widespread curiosity, and the release of the song “Aaya Sher” further increased anticipation for the film. Viewers have particularly praised the raw energy of the song and the striking visuals that showcase the larger-than-life world created for the story.

A major highlight behind the visuals of the song is the massive slum empire set designed by the film’s art department. Instead of relying on temporary backdrops or flat boards, the team constructed real structures to create a believable environment. The set portrays the hero as the emperor of the slums, reflecting the powerful theme and atmosphere of the film.

One of the most prominent structures built for the song is the massive Hero House, also known as the Kaman Set. The imposing structure measures about 60 feet in width, 45 feet in height and 25 feet in depth. Interestingly, the set was initially designed with a width of 30 feet but was later expanded by an additional 15 feet on each side to enhance its visual impact. Around 25 workers spent nearly 20 days constructing the structure. Special aging techniques were used to give the building a worn and realistic look so that it blended naturally with the surrounding environment.

Another visually striking setup featured in the song is a giant biryani bowl-style structure designed with a copper finish and rustic texture. The unique structure measures about 10 feet in width, with a 20-foot radius and a height of 6 feet. A small team of five to seven members completed this creative installation within five days, adding a distinctive visual element to the song’s setting.
The largest part of the set is the Water Body Village Set, which covers around 2.5 acres of land. Unlike typical film sets that rely on facades, the production team built nearly 60 fully constructed houses to create a realistic slum village environment. Around 50 workers worked for almost 30 days to complete the village set, which was designed to accommodate nearly 500 people at a time during filming.
To enhance the authenticity of the setting, the production team also created a large water body inside the village. Nearly 100 water tankers were brought in to fill the area, a process that took around seven days. Additionally, a separate pond measuring 20 feet by 20 feet with a depth of about 20 feet was constructed to store water for the set.
The film’s art department also built a massive dump yard set as part of the visual world of the song. The structure measures approximately 120 feet in length, 50 feet in width and 30 feet in height. Around 25 workers worked continuously for 30 days to create the dump yard environment, carefully designing it to resemble a real-life waste yard with an organic and lived-in look.
One of the most notable aspects of these large-scale constructions is that they were built without disturbing the natural surroundings. The art department carefully integrated the structures with the landscape, using natural textures and aging techniques to make the sets look authentic and realistic.
Every element of the set was meticulously planned before construction began, ensuring that the structures matched the creative vision of the film while also allowing smooth filming operations. The final construction work was carried out only after obtaining all necessary permissions and approvals.
The grand sets have now become one of the most talked-about aspects of the viral song “Aaya Sher,” giving audiences a glimpse into the gritty and immersive world that The Paradise aims to present on the big screen. With such large-scale production design and growing excitement among fans, the film is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated cinematic releases of the year.
