GMB Entertainment, backed by Superstar Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, has officially announced the worldwide release date of Rao Bahadur. Starring Satya Dev in the lead role, the psychological thriller will arrive in cinemas on June 5.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Venkatesh Maha, the film is jointly produced by A+S Movies and SriChakraas Entertainments. The newly released poster presents Satya Dev in a majestic royal look, dressed in traditional attire with a powerful screen presence. A striking detail in the poster is an insect resting on his turban, adding mystery and symbolic intrigue to the film’s theme.
The palace backdrop, wrapped in creeping vines, hints at a story connected to power, heritage, and hidden secrets. Earlier, the film’s first glimpse created curiosity, while the first single O Sundari won praise for its melodious tune and vintage visual appeal. Featuring Satya Dev and Deepa Thomas, the song added more excitement around the project.
Rao Bahadur is said to blend psychological drama with the fading legacy of an aristocratic era. Venkatesh Maha is handling writing, direction, and editing, while Kartik Parmar takes care of cinematography. Music is composed by Smaran Sai, with production design by Rohan Singh.
