The night of May 24, 2026 turned Bhopal into a star‑studded arena as the promotional launch of Ram Charan’s much‑anticipated film Peddi unfolded. Fans gathered in droves, braving a two‑hour delay, to witness a dazzling showcase of talent that promised to put the upcoming Hindi version of the film on the nation’s radar. The event, dubbed Peddi ki Aawaz, set the tone for a summer release slated for June 4.

AR Rahman, the Oscar‑winning maestro, took the stage and showered Charan with praise, noting that “every single frame has 100 percent of Ram Charan.” He lauded the actor’s dance energy, declaring that Charan had lifted the music to a whole new level. Rahman even performed the energetic track “Rai Rai Raa Raa” live, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
The highlight was the release of the new song “Hellallallo,” featuring Charan, Janhvi Kapoor and Shruti Haasan. Janhvi, ever the charmer, likened Charan’s on‑set demeanor to a modern avatar of Gautam Buddha, prompting a burst of laughter from the actor. Charan, in turn, shared his vision for Peddi – a story meant to inspire Indian children to dream big and aim for the Olympics. He invoked cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni, linking their grit to his role as a non‑professional cricketer in the film.
A light‑hearted slip‑up added humour when Charan mistakenly called bowler Jasprit Bumrah a footballer, later apologising on X with a gracious note. With promises of a grand success meet in Bhopal and chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” echoing through the venue, the bash confirmed that Peddi is primed to become a blockbuster, buoyed by the collective star power of Charan, Rahman and Kapoor.
