Bobby Deol can’t stop talking about Alia Bhatt’s relentless dedication to the high‑octane action sequences in the upcoming thriller Alpha. The veteran actor, who joins the film’s cast alongside Sharvari and Anil Kapoor, says Alia’s preparation left him genuinely awed. “I’m very fond of Ranbir and Alia, and I always wanted to work with both of them. With Ranbir I did Animal, and now with Alia I’ve done Alpha,” he told Filmfare, adding that the film’s fresh, raw visual style feels like a new experience for Indian audiences. Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail – best known for The Railway Men – follows the origin story of an assassin trained from birth to kill. The role demanded Alia, who has never tackled such gritty stunt work before, to undergo an intense physical regimen. “She comes to the set completely prepared, deeply invested in every scene. I was amazed seeing how prepared she was for the shoot,” Deol praised. Producer Aditya Chopra and Rawail pushed for realism, insisting every fight look authentic and unforgiving. “It was a tough shoot for both of us, but the result will be a film everyone can sit back and enjoy,” Deol added. The collaboration also marks a reunion of sorts, as Deol previously worked with Ranbir Kapoor on Animal. Alpha is slated to hit theatres on July 10, 2026, promising a gritty, visually striking action spectacle featuring two women leading the charge.
