HYDERABAD – In a move aimed at enhancing citizen convenience and accessibility, two Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) in Hyderabad, previously located in Ameerpet and Tolichowki, have been shifted to new, upgraded premises. The new PSKs, which commenced operations on September 16, are now situated at Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) Metro and Raidurg, respectively.
The Ameerpet PSK, formerly at Aditya Trade Centre, has been relocated to the concourse level of the MGBS Metro Station. This is a historic first, as it’s the first passport office to be established inside a metro station, a development that will significantly benefit residents of Old Hyderabad by reducing their travel time for passport-related work. This relocation fulfills a long-standing demand of the community.
Meanwhile, the Tolichowki PSK, which was situated near Shaikpet Nala, has been moved to the Siri Building on Old Mumbai Road in Raidurg. Both new centers are equipped with improved infrastructure and amenities, designed to handle a larger number of applicants more efficiently and reduce waiting times.
The Ministry of External Affairs had originally established three PSKs in Hyderabad in November 2011—at Begumpet, Ameerpet, and Tolichowki. These relocations are part of an ongoing effort to modernize and streamline passport services for the thousands of applicants in the city.

For those with appointments at the former locations, all services will now be provided at the new MGBS Metro and Raidurg PSKs.
